What do I do if I receive a Wireless Range Indicator in the App?Updated a year ago

When it comes to updating your Trulli JAM5's firmware or sound profile, you may encounter a wireless range indicator in the app. This means that your JAM5 is not meeting the requirements for the update due to the wireless range. Don't worry, we have some steps that you can take to resolve this issue.

First, make sure your device is as close as possible to your JAM5. If you live in a dense urban community, you may need to be closer than 30ft due to signal interference. This is important because a strong wireless connection is necessary for a successful update.

If you are still unable to update your device after moving closer, you can try resetting the Trulli App. To do this, go to your device's settings and select the Trulli App. Then, tap on "Force Stop" and "Clear Data" to reset the app. After resetting the app, try the update process again.

If resetting the app doesn't work, you can also refer to our supporting article "Unable to connect to Trulli JAM5" for additional troubleshooting steps.

Remember, it's important to keep your Trulli JAM5 updated to ensure optimal performance and functionality. With these tips, you can troubleshoot any wireless range indicator issues and get your device updated in no time.

If you are still unable to update your device, you will want to Reset the Trulli App or look to our supporting article Unable to connect to Trulli JAM5 and repeat the following steps.
