When battery is low, you’ll hear a voice prompt and see the LED bar display halfway. Plug it in promptly to avoid audio interruptions.
Battery prompts you’ll hear
As your Jam5 battery runs down, you’ll hear these voice prompts in sequence:
-
“Battery below 50% – consider charging”
-
“Battery low” (around 20%)
-
“Please charge” (critically low, under 15%)
-
“Goodbye” (device powering down)
When you hear “Please charge,” you’ll typically have about 20 minutes of listening time remaining, depending on your current volume and usage. Higher volumes or heavy bass content will use up power more quickly.
What to do when your battery is low
To extend performance and avoid unexpected shutdowns:
-
Keep your Jam5 fully charged between uses
-
Turn down the volume if you're low on battery
-
Plug it in as soon as you hear a warning prompt
