Battery levelsUpdated a year ago

The battery life of any device is a crucial factor, and the JAM5 is no exception. In this article, we'll go over how to check the battery levels on your JAM5 speaker.

When you power up your JAM5 for the first time, you'll be able to check battery levels using two separate prompts, a voice prompt, and a visual prompt built into the LED bar animation. Both will indicate the specific battery levels on your device. Upon arrival, the LED bars will animate halfway following a voice prompt stating "Battery below 50%" to give you an example.

To check your battery levels, you can hit +/- quickly, and the LED bars will animate left to right (both top and bottom LED bars). When checking your battery levels through the LED animation, keep in mind there are eight steps total, each indicating a 12.5% battery life.

We'll also list the four basic voice prompts to listen for battery low indication. Voice prompt 1 - "Battery below 50% consider charging" (consider plugging your device in to charge). Voice prompt 2 - "Battery low" (your battery is under 20%). Voice prompt 3 - "Please Charge" (battery is critically low). Voice prompt 4 - "Goodbye" (device is turning off and needs to be charged).

It's essential to keep your device charged and know when it's time to charge it. By following these instructions and listening for the appropriate voice prompts, you'll be able to maintain your JAM5's battery life for a longer time.

In summary, this article explains how to check the battery levels on your JAM5 speaker and provides helpful tips to maintain your device's battery life. By following these instructions, you'll be able to keep your JAM5 powered up and ready to go whenever you need it.
