It can be frustrating if your Bass50 connects to the wrong phone, tablet, or laptop—especially when you’re trying to get the music going somewhere else. Thankfully, there are a few quick ways to take back control of your connections.
Step 1: Check your Bluetooth connections
The Bass50 will automatically try to reconnect to the last device it was paired with—if that device is still nearby.
- Turn off Bluetooth on the device you don’t want it connecting to
- Or manually disconnect the Bass50 from that device’s Bluetooth settings
This helps the Bass50 stay available for the device you actually want to use.
Step 2: Set Auto Connection Preferences in the Trulli App
Open the Trulli App and go to the Info tab (bottom right) → then tap Auto Connection Settings.
There, you can:
- Star your preferred Bass50 and source device
- Lock in your ideal connection combo—so the Bass50 pairs how you want, even when other devices are nearby
This is the best option for vehicle setups, shared spaces, or multi-user households.
Step 3: Forget the Bass50 on other devices
On the device that keeps stealing the connection:
- Open Bluetooth settings
- Tap the “i” or gear icon next to Trulli Bass50
- Select Forget This Device
This removes it from that device’s memory so it won’t auto-connect again.
Step 4: Factory Reset (last resort)
Still having issues? A factory reset clears all Bluetooth pairings from your Bass50.
Be aware: You’ll need to reconnect your preferred device afterward. Only use this step if the other options don’t solve the issue.

Final Notes
Bluetooth devices can be clingy—but the steps above give you full control over how your Bass50 connects.
For setups you use often—like in a vehicle or with DJ gear—setting your preferred connection in the app and disabling Bluetooth on other devices nearby can help ensure a smooth start every time. No wires, no hassle—just reliable bass wherever you go.
