So your device says it’s connected, but the Bass50 is giving you the silent treatment. Don’t worry—there are a few common causes we can walk through to get your music back up and running.
1. Check your Volume and Gain settings
The two biggest culprits. Volume and gain work together—if one’s too low, you might not hear anything.
Here’s how to adjust them:
On the Bass50:
- Tap or hold the +/- buttons for Master Volume
- Hold +/- and the Trulli button together for Bass Gain
On the Remote (Vehicle Kit):
- Left knob = Volume
- Right knob = Gain
In the Trulli App:
- Top slider = Volume
- Bottom slider = Gain

2. Reconnect your audio source
The connection may show up, but still be glitched or incomplete. Try:
Bluetooth:
- Forget the Bass50 in your Bluetooth settings
- Re-pair from scratch
AUX or USB-C:
- Unplug and reconnect the cable
- Try a different cable if available
Using the Vehicle Kit?
- Make sure the SKAA connection is solid
- Open the Trulli App and verify pairing is complete
- Check out the [Vehicle Kit Guide] for help
3. Confirm the correct input
Using AUX or USB-C? Make sure your source device is:
- Sending audio through that output (check phone/tablet settings)
- Using the correct adapter or cable
- Not defaulting to another connected device like wireless earbuds
4. Make sure you’re not muted
Hey—it happens.
- On your phone: Check the mute toggle
- In your app: Make sure Spotify, YouTube, etc. aren’t paused
- In the Trulli App: Ensure no settings are zeroed out in your sound profile
5. Try another device
Still silent? Try connecting a different phone, tablet, or laptop. If that works, the issue may be with your original device’s output—not the Bass50.
6. Restart the Bass50
Give it a clean slate:
- Press and hold the Trulli button for 7 seconds to power off
- Press and hold again for 1 second to turn back on
