If the Trulli App isn’t detecting your Bass50, don’t worry—it’s usually an easy fix. This guide walks you through the most common causes and how to solve them.
1. Make sure Bluetooth is on
The app uses Bluetooth to discover and connect to your Bass50. If Bluetooth is off, the app won’t be able to detect anything.
- Check that Bluetooth is enabled on your phone or tablet
- Try toggling Bluetooth off, then back on to refresh the connection
2. Confirm your Bass50 is powered on
When the Bass50 is on, the Trulli button will glow solid white.
If it’s not lit:
- Press and hold the Trulli button for 1 second to power on
- Make sure the battery isn’t drained
- If needed, plug it into power and try again
For detailed steps, see: [How do I turn my Bass50 on and off?]
3. Manually enter pairing mode
If your Bass50 isn’t in pairing mode, the app won’t find it.
To enter pairing mode:
- Press and hold both the + and – buttons for 2 seconds
- The LED ring will rotate red clockwise
- You’ll hear a short tone confirming it’s ready to pair
Note: Pairing mode lasts 2 minutes before timing out. If it does, simply repeat the steps.
4. Restart the app (and maybe your device)
Sometimes a quick refresh is all it takes:
- Force-quit the Trulli App
- Reopen it and try again
- Still stuck? Restart your phone or tablet and try once more
5. Check for updates
Using an outdated Trulli app or OS can cause connection issues:
- Update to the latest version of the Trulli App
- Check for any available OS updates for your phone or tablet
Final Notes
Still not finding your Bass50?
- Try pairing via your device’s Bluetooth settings first
- Once connected, open the Trulli App—it may now recognize the speaker
- If all else fails, consider a [Factory Reset] as a last resort
